Help Lead a Preschool Ministry That Shapes Hearts and Minds

Cross Church NRH is seeking a part-time Preschool Director to lead Angel Land Preschool, our licensed preschool ministry serving children from 8 weeks through Pre-K.

Angel Land is more than childcare. It is a distinctly Christian preschool that partners with families to help children grow in both God’s love and the foundational skills they need to thrive. We are looking for a director who can lead with conviction, wisdom, warmth, and excellence.

This role is ideal for someone who loves God’s Word, loves children, and is passionate about building a preschool environment that is spiritually grounded, academically strong, and operationally healthy.

Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:45 AM–2:15 PM

Season: August–May, following the Birdville ISD school calendar

Start Date: May, in order to observe current operations and prepare for the upcoming school year

About Angel Land Preschool

Angel Land Preschool is a licensed preschool ministry of Cross Church NRH serving children from infancy through Pre-K. Our mission is to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment where children are taught the truth of God’s love while developing the educational skills appropriate to their age and individual needs.

We are intentionally a preschool, not a daycare. That means we care deeply about both spiritual formation and school readiness, while also coming alongside parents as trusted partners in the development of their children.

What the Preschool Director Will Do

The Preschool Director will provide leadership for the overall health and effectiveness of Angel Land Preschool. This includes:

  • Hiring and leading staff

  • Choosing and overseeing curriculum

  • Managing day-to-day operations

  • Mentoring teachers

  • Supporting and serving parents

  • Maintaining a healthy, child-centered learning culture

  • Ensuring compliance with licensing expectations

  • Promoting Christian formation, academic readiness, and strong family partnership

This is primarily a leadership and oversight role. The director should build and lead a team in such a way that regular classroom teaching is not necessary.
