Senior Pastor

Scott came to know Jesus Christ as a child, and this experience changed his life. During his college years at the University of Kentucky, God called him to lead churches. After graduating from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, with his Ph.D. with a focus on spiritual awakening, he has had the privilege of pastoring churches in Arkansas and Texas for more than twenty years. Scott also has graduated with a Master of Nonprofit degree from the University of Notre Dame. Scott and Traci have been married for more than thirty years and have three children (Miles, Macaul, and Matthew).

Our Senior Pastor

With more than 30 years of pastoral ministry experience, our Senior Pastor, Scott Maze, has had the privilege of serving churches throughout Texas and Arkansas. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Cross Church, ministering to the congregations at both our North Richland Hills and North Fort Worth campuses.

His passion for teaching God’s Word, shepherding people, and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ continues to shape his ministry and leadership at Cross Church.
