DIVORCE CARE

The next cycle of Divorce Care classes will begin January 12, 2025 and run through April 6, 2025.

Divorce Care is DVD- and workbook-driven and is facilitated by men and women who have not only experienced divorce but have also gone through Divorce Care and been blessed by God. Divorce Care is for you whether you are divorced, separated, or just broken. You can jump into this 13-week course at any point. It meets in Room 203 on Sunday mornings at 10. Books are $20 and donations toward the cost are accepted. Have questions? Call the church office at 817-284-9206. This class is currently not meeting, it will resume on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Lifeway series Acts

CLASS OVERVIEW

The book commonly known as “Acts” is short for “Acts of the Apostles” because it prominently features Jesus’s called, gifted, and set apart messengers to expand His church. But this title is misleading.

The main character of Acts is not the Apostles but the Holy Spirit. Behind and beyond all the work the Apostles do is the third person of the Trinity, God the Spirit empowering their work and causing it to flourish.

As we read through the first 12 chapters of Acts, we join with them and with the Spirit, discovering the Spirit-empowered works they performed and entering the story with them—a story that is still in process today.
